Published by Jackie Olmstead, June 26, 2021. How is your day going, my friend? During my meditation this morning, as I usually do, I write down my thoughts that come to mind. I was thinking about you and my new website. How can I really start to tell you all the things that I want to do here on Earth and how that affects you? And what I offer, what I teach, what in the heck do I do for you and how do I do it? So many questions and I was guided to think about my mission statement:
“In all that I do, I believe in challenging the status quo. I believe in trusting our bodies to heal themselves. The way I challenge the status quo is by teaching clean living by what we eat, what we allow around us and all that supports our bodies to heal themselves.”
So, in other words, healing ourselves makes it so we don’t get sick often, if at all. Healing ourselves from past illnesses is part of that. And then, it reminded me of a deep-rooted desire and need to be a part of the mass transformation of our health care industry (does the word industry really belong with the word “health”? I mean really…)
And then, the idea of how we can change things from a small mustard seed level: Each of us takes care of ourselves so well that we need the medical industry so much less that it forces them to offer different things for treatment. I am pointing to “supply and demand.”
(from MyAccountingCourse.com:) “Define Supply and Demand: Supply & Demand means the amount of goods or services companies are willing to produce and the amount of goods or services that consumers are willing to purchase.”
So, what if… (thinking really big here) as people heal themselves from all the cancer, diabetes, heart disease, asthma (all the things that can be treated with better self care: food, exercise, emotional health etc etc), what if the need for the current kind of band-aid care goes away? What if we don’t need the physicians to do what they’ve been trained to do all this time and patients get smarter and educate themselves? How do you think the “industry” will change? I, for one, am very excited to see this evolution.
What if we as humans who have learned so much about how we can heal our bodies can then also rehire our physicians and health care team to do more for us? That we can ask more intelligent poignant questions to help guide our medical team towards more what we need and want instead of thinking we are not allowed to ask.
Nope, this isn’t an essay question to be answered by you today. Not a test. But I would LOVE if you were to truly think about how your actions and decisions could be a butterfly effect towards a very interesting future where we work WITH our medical team to get better. Our seemingly small advances in our own health improvement could actually force the medical world to change. The demand for pills, inhalers, shots, stuff that doesn’t heal us necessarily, would decrease. Just imagine how many companies this would affect.
There are LOTS of physicians, nurses, and other health care providers in this world who are already on this way of thinking, by the way. I have not found many myself yet locally, but the ones I do know of, I support and refer them like crazy.
Just some Saturday musings for you and how I plan on showing up more on this Earth and help YOU as well. Taking back your health is the best thing you can do for yourself and your family.
By the way, one major freedom I enjoy is not ever having to carry an inhaler anymore. I was diagnosed with asthma at 6 months old and healed (97%) of my asthma in 2015-2016. This is true freedom!
Have a beautiful weekend, my friend!
