What Is the Still Point?

So what I want you to do with all this information is practice. Evaluate what feels best for your body, create connections in your own meditation so that you can find better understandings of what your body is about. Gaining knowledge about your own body and mind is priceless and no one else can do it for you. They can point you in a direction of ideas on how to honor yourself more. 

Italy Slice of Life and Meditation

Some of the best meditative, self-reflective and breathtaking moments I have spent on this Earth was when I studied abroad in Italy back in 1989 and 1989 for a total of a year. 

In the summer of 1988 I studied Italian (intensive) at the School for Foreigners in Perugia. The school paired the students with others around the world. My roommate was from Germany. She was tall and blonde and I remember respecting her a lot. I don’t remember a whole lot of details as to why except that she was intelligent, was kind, her English impeccable and we shared a commiseration about our “house mother.”

Funny Thing About Naming Stuff

I was thinking this morning about naming my latest painting and how to convey in a few words a title that could possibly express my emotions around the image I created. When I created the artwork, I was creating from some other indescribable place in my mind. Another dimension, if you will. One thing that comes up is how new and accepted healing modalities are these days. This is a fantastic thing!

I love that there’s a lot more discussion with people who might never have talked about having massages or even talking about what energy healing is.
